Vienna II

at Schloss Schönbrunn

Sissi´s garden

a miniature of Vienna

the place where I ate the most delicious croissant (except for those I ate in Paris)

old and new

Et voilà, the second and last part of my Vienna photo diary... I´ve spent some seriously
amazing days there and wouldn't mind going back any time soon! If one of you should ever
find oneself strolling around in the city being completely clueless, head for Café Phil for
breakfast, explore the tiny and narrow streets to discover a few fantastic individual boutiques,
be sure to make a stop at the museum's quarter, buy a cookbook at Babette´s and take the
tube to Sissi's castle!

Vienna I

Wish I had a roof garden...

yes, I was wearing my winter coat every single day...

So, after this major silence on my blog (I don´t even want to count the entire amount of days
of my absence) I´m finally back, got through all of my final exams and am waiting for
getting my results tomorrow. Upcoming challenges to face: the graduation dress (if I only
had Carey Mulligan´s crystal dress) ...and of course a final decision about what to do,
where to go and to travel and to study and so on and so on and so on... I´m honestly
said still a little clueless but will make sure to keep you up to date!
Have a lovely evening!

Pretty in Pink

skirt: Topshop, top: Lucy Hope, jewelry: H&M

Although I´m convinced that your life does not revolve around the updates from this blog I must
admit that I can´t help but feel quite a bit guilty (yet again) for my inactivity at the moment.
I´ve beenspending the past few days in Vienna and time flew by so quickly that I hardly ever
found a second to even turn my Macbook on, let alone to open Photoshop. Anyway, the Austrian
capital is by far one of the aesthetically and visually most pleasing cities I have been to (probably
took a photo of every second building I passed by and no... I am not exaggerating!) and their
cafés and bakeries can totally compete with all those fancy Parisian ones I sat in two years ago.

So, have a lovely Sunday evening and
make sure to stay tuned for a few photo diaries to come!

Oh oh Chérie !

Long time no post, I know and I feel quite a bit guilty and wish I could have found the time to keep you
up to date but anyway, I´m back and want to share the last (and my favourite) part of the photos taken
in front of a beautifully blossoming magnolia tree. At the moment I am rediscovering my love for all
kinds of hats and naturally developed a strong craving for all those elegant ones featured in The Great
Gatsby. In general the movie met my expectations on the level of the atmosphere it created (a huge
thank you to MiuMiu and Prada) although it did not quite reach the excellence of Scott Fitzgerald´s
novel storywise. Nevertheless its definitely worth the money and Carey Mulligan, Leonardo DiCaprio
and Tobey Maguire form an incredibly interesting trio of actors! Nick Carraway (Tobey Maguire) actually does a pretty good job at painting an adequate picture of the whole movie right at the beginning of the story:

"New York, 1922. The tempo of the city had changed sharply. The buildings were higher, the parties were bigger, the
morals were looser and the liquor was cheaper."

Anyway, enjoy your weekend and stay tuned!

Sweet Dreams

1

Voilà.... a post for all those of you having a sweet tooth and of course a post for keeping this blog up to
date as the intervals between my sign of life continue to grow longer and longer. However, I can most
confidently assure you that the current silence around here is only a momentary one and the last of my
written exams on Friday will allow me to get back to my usual routine again.
Have a lovely evening (& leave a comment if you should be interested in
getting either the recipe for the cake pops or for the mini bundt cakes)!
